Don't see why you did that

It's funny yes but it is just missing the animation I'm used to on this site. I do agree that alot of Gamestop Stores have gays working there but alot of them have some good guys (and girls...) that know their gaming. Animate it and make the guy have the gay look and you will get a better score on this. Good voice acting and a solid idea to back it is why I like this flash.

i was trying to do stop animation. not true flash. this is my way of doing something artistic / cool that I think I can make hilarious. There is other stop animation on this site also. Not just flash.

[Animation Challenge Wk1-3]

This is a great idea

You are all onto the right idea here, it seems that all you have is a froendly competition to see who is the best and I respect that. In that light I would like to post my reviews, and also tell why these people won in my book.

First: Walking Cycle: Winer-Vincoid Why? Well even though his animation was a bit on the odd looking side he showed a natural gate in the legs, the only part missing was counter balance by arm swing but thats a minor detail.

Second: Jumping Cycle: Winner- Chillyphilly This is one of the best works on here, simply because he/she studied studied their physics. The jump and hang were done excellently. Also having sound does help even in a minor way.

Third: Explosion Cycle: Winner- Chillyphilly This one was a toss up between Chilly and Darkredemption, both captured the essence of an explosion, but Chilly hit it on the head a little better.

All those who participated in this did an excellent job and should be proud that they can animate like that. I hope that those who didn't win do not become depressed about not winning, the fact is this sort of thing makes you better. As long as it it conducted in an honorable way and there aren't sore losers everybody wins. Good luck to all contestants in next weeks release.

Yes, Next week will not release anything though. Probably in about 2-3 weeks, there will be another submission hitting the portal, with alot more gems and nice little additions to it. Can't really release any information yet, but I have alot of ideas up my sleeve.

I'm hoping to make the following submission, Bigger and better. With a more supportive userbased voting system along with a bit more interactive fun gems.

So we'll see what happens. Look out for it. And thank you for your review !

RVB feel

I give it an 8 because it could have been done better but the concept is strong. I hope you come up with more, might I suggest the "Holly Hand Grenade" bit. Try to convey a better feel through body language. Thnak you for the laugh and keep it up!

Love the animation

Love the idea and amination but the concept is a bit hard to grasp cause of the speed at which it is done. Is that the "water color" style you did that in because it reminded me of the old samurai art works. Just slow the story down a bit and it will be better recieved. Keep it up!

Great idea, great story....bah its just great! Keep it up, I want to see the rest of this one! To the guy who said it needs more music....WTF buddy if you base your vote off music then you need to listen more closely to the words said, it doesn't need musical help. Again bud good job on this one I look forward to part 2.

Thanks a lot for the review man, much appreciated. Glad to hear you liked it. Yeah, there was actually another song in the movie (I won't say where), but it actually detracted from the movie. I tried a few other songs, and none of them made the scene better. It just made the flow weird. So yeah, I think the amount of music in it is just fine. If I hadn't thought that, there'd be more music in it.

This is a great idea and I like the influences from Gundam Wing and Seed/ Seed Destiny. Keep up the work.

Thank you. This is an anime series based off my novels of the same name. I am slowly close to getting published (am copy editing the proof of the first book) and felt like I wanted to get a larger audience. And I always wanted to do an anime like series based off of it and it was only natural to be highly influenced from Gundam. The blatant Gundam features will be gone in the early episodes as I am finally content on the official concept sketches that will be used for the books (Had to, I mean I only used Gundam as a medium to learn how to draw mecha. and Bandai wouldn't really like alot of the designs as they're pretty obvious.)

The mech designs aside, the series is its own story and is not influenced by Gundam as I didn't really start getting into Gundam until I wrote the 5th book. My main original influence was the game Armored Core, and my mind just went from there and slowly I started getting into Wing and etc.

So yeah, haha...anyway I appreciate the comment. I should be posting something new shortly, it will most likely be the first season ending. I am near completetion on the first episode. I usually update my production site every chance I get with info, speaking of which I have to do that tonight.

Ok for a project but....

Wow! thats all I have to say here. The intro was (Static....whoosh....static) "These are the voyages of the starship....." "Captain's log, star date 2545.6" (static....woosh....static)<.< um yeah that <.<" . Ok you get the point, and not only is that what it reminded me of but man this could have been a good one if you had done it in that theme. I say retry it and up the animation quality and do a set theme.
